Introduction
Barcelona light is specific. It is high and hard in summer, low and golden from October, and it bounces off pale stone façades across the width of a Cerdà street. Interiors that work here are designed around that, not against it, and the difference shows most in the hours nobody photographs.
Why does the palette matter so much?
Because strong Mediterranean light exaggerates everything. Cool greys turn blue and flat. Warm off-whites and soft stone tones hold their colour from morning to dusk. The interiors at Còrsega use a restrained base so that the light itself, and the view of the façades opposite, do the decorating.
What about the deep blue cabinetry?
The kitchens use a deep blue island against pale surfaces. It works for a reason: a single saturated element in a light room reads as intentional rather than busy, and blue is one of the few strong colours that does not go muddy under southern sun. It also nods to Barcelona's ceramic tradition without pastiche.
How is shading handled?
Controllable, not fixed. The point is to keep the option of full light in January and full shade in August, which is why the glazing and the terrace thresholds matter more than any single material choice. Good shading is the most underrated luxury in a southern city.

FAQ
Are the interiors at Còrsega Residences delivered finished?
The homes are delivered with their designed finishes, kitchens and bathrooms in place. The dossier sets out the specification per unit.
Which orientation gives the best interior light?
Street-facing rooms get the long, reflected light off the façades opposite. Rooms onto the interior courtyard get softer, quieter light and much less noise.
Can finishes be modified?
That depends on the unit and the stage of works. It is worth asking early rather than after reservation.
